<p>As a follow up on a previous episode of the MedicCast podcast, kinematics of trauma, this week&#039;s episode is on Motor Vehicular Accidents mechanisms of injury. Vehicular accidents are common all over the world and ranks fourth in global health problems. In the US, about 42,000 are killed from MVA and injuries reach a number as high as 3.5 million. It very important for emergency responders to be familiar with this concept to be able to perform a thorough but fast assessment and save precious time for the patient. Also included in the program are the latest EMS news and links to this week&#039;s tip for more information or future studies.</p>
