In most cases of trauma patients, not all injuries would present physical manifestations. In worse cases, patients would even be unconscious which could make a detailed assessment difficult to perform. During these situations, knowledge on the kinematics of trauma will be of big help in anticipating and identifying hidden injuries depending on the incident.
